Dr Rose Poon

Rose graduated from the University of Dundee in 2019 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and has been building her career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery ever since. She spent four years working as a Senior House Officer across London, where she developed strong surgical skills, gained valuable hospital experience, and perfected the art of surviving on NHS coffee.

During this time, Rose developed a special interest in dental trauma, helping patients restore their smiles after injuries, because every tooth deserves a second chance (and sometimes a crown). She is currently working as a Speciality Doctor in Oral Surgery at the Royal London Dental Hospital.

Passionate about both oral surgery and aesthetic dentistry, Rose is currently completing the Dr Chris Orr Aesthetic Dentistry course to further refine her skills. She is trained in IV sedation (SAAD) and is undertaking training in dental acupuncture, helping nervous patients feel calm, comfortable, and well cared for.

Multilingual and always ready for a challenge, she speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Malay, and is ambitiously tackling Greek, because why not add another language to the mix? When she is not perfecting smiles, you can find her in the kitchen, whipping up pastries and planning their future stint on The Great British Bake Off. With the same precision they apply to surgery, she is working on becoming the next star baker with the hand shake.

Above all, Rose is committed to delivering exceptional care, always striving for the best patient outcomes while maintaining a healthy dose of humor (and maybe fix your sweet tooth with a slice of cake).
