What is DrSmile?

Are you looking to straighten your teeth, but aren’t keen on the prospect of a fixed metal brace? Dr Smile is the viable alternative that uses custom made clear aligners to move your teeth into a healthy position, resulting in beautiful-looking teeth.

DrSmile can achieve wonders for your smile in as little as 6-12 months, closing unsightly gaps, tacking misalignment problems, and dealing with crowded teeth.

The steps to getting DrSmile

Examination: we will need to assess your suitability for treatment with DrSmile by carrying out an examination of your teeth and mouth tissues, to make sure you don’t have any underlying problems before proceeding.

Planning: we will take 3D images of your teeth, along with X-rays, which can be sent off to a dedicated DrSmile lab, where your aligners are created based on this information. You’ll even have a prospective look at what your smile will look like after treatment is complete!

Teeth straightening: once we have your aligners back at the practice, your treatment is ready to begin. You will need to change your aligners over every 2 weeks at home – each aligner is made according to the movements your teeth go through during treatment. Your dentist at InnovaDent Dental Clinic will perform remote checks, to ensure your treatment is going smoothly.

Retainer: to stop your teeth from moving once you’ve completed the aligner-wearing part of treatment, you will need to wear a retainer.
